Lovely Charts

Stumbled upon Lovely Charts a week or so ago and finally had a chance to play with it. It’s a cool little online free flash application that creates flowcharts. I tested it out making a proposed signal flow diagram for an upgrade to our IMAG system. It was really easy to work and I made a nice looking diagram in under an hour. It’s not perfect, but it’s small quirks are not going to deter me from using it. Below is a small excerpt of the bigger chart.

Laurelle’s 2nd birthday

Yesterday was Laurelle’s 2nd Birthday.

Amy spent many hours getting the blue just right for these Cookie Monster cupcakes. In the end she won. Not without totally staining her hands. Aren’t they pretty awesome?

She really liked them…

Yum!

Almost like a light switch turning on, Laurelle also seems to have shifted into being “two”. There has been lots of screaming today and emphatic yelling of “No!!!”

Now i need to go write her yearly birthday letter.

It is Liana’s 5th Birthday today. Yesterday, when I was piddling around at work, Amy made this awesome cake for Liana’s birthday

Back From Vacation

I am back from a week-long vacation totally without internet. More on that at another time, but I have one overriding thought from my vacation… If airlines are going to charge you for checking bags, then they should refund your money if they lose them.
